Civil Contractors Federation Tasmania 

The Civil Contractors Federation Tasmania is the civil construction industry peak body and business association in Tasmania.

 

As the leading voice of the civil infrastructure construction and maintenance industry in Tasmania, the CCF represent and promote the interests of their members with local and state government and government enterprises to ensure their member’s views are heard and their industry is represented.

Housing Industry Australia

For over 80 years, HIA has proudly served as the representative body for Australia’s residential building industry.

 

Their enduring vision is to act as a unified voice on industry matters, to effect meaningful and lasting change, to deliver high-quality services in a cost-effective manner, and to collaborate with the sector in upholding exemplary standards through self-regulation and responsible commercial conduct.

 

HIAs large membership base gives them political strength and the ability to develop and advocate policy founded on the importance of the residential building industry and benefiting all Australians.

 

The HIA logo is displayed as a sign of professionalism on building sites all around the country. Their members are responsible for over 80 per cent of new homes and renovations in Australia.

Master Builders’ Association of Tasmania

Master Builders’ Association of Tasmania Inc. is an employer organisation representing builders, trade contractors, service providers and trade suppliers in the building and construction industry. The Association seeks to lead the development and professional standards of the industry, to further the interests of its members and the Tasmanian community.

 

Master Builders Tas are a non-political and not for profit making organisation set up to safe guard and promote the interests of MBT members in their business of building and construction contracting, to assist them in the execution of their work and to encourage and promote a high standard of workmanship and integrity in the building industry and to actively seek improvement of conditions under which the building industry operates.

Master Plumbers’ Association of Tasmania

The Master Plumbers’ Association of Tasmania is Tasmania's peak plumbing contractor organisation representing some 150 small to large businesses. Their Members are bound by a Code of Conduct, and thier Association is governed by its Constitution and an elected Board of Management with the support of the Executive Officer.


The Association pro-actively seeks involvement in all areas affecting the Plumbing Industry to safeguard contractor interests, explore and develop commercial opportunities and protect the health and well-being of the Tasmanian community and our environment.

 

MPA promote and maintain the highest standards of plumbing through:
1. individual and industry competence;
2. ethics by education and support; and
3. training and information exchange and networking within Tasmania.

Municipal Works Australia

Municipal Works Australia (MWA) is a not-for-profit member-based association established to uphold and assist individuals and organisations operating in municipal works. MWA is the preeminent national collaborative platform for local government employees and companies supplying products and services within the municipal works sector.

 

Established in 1936, MWA fosters excellence in providing municipal works and services by facilitating professional growth, fostering camaraderie, and organising networking events and career development programs. MWA members include people providing frontline maintenance, engineering, and operational support services for councils. 

Mas National

Mas National (Mas), proudly part of the Intowork Australia Group, has been delivering employment and apprenticeship support services across Australia for over 25 years. They partner with government, industry, employers, individuals and other stakeholders to facilitate apprenticeship sign-ups, deliver targeted mentoring and to create workforce participation opportunities, across all industries. The Mas mission is simple yet powerful: to create vibrant futures by connecting people with opportunities and businesses with talent. 

 

Mas' team is committed to offering personalised guidance and support, ensuring that both apprentices and employers have the resources they need to make the most of their apprenticeship experience. Every month, They make a significant difference in the Australian workforce: More than 2,500 apprentices are placed into rewarding careers; Over 1,200 businesses receive support in their workforce development; Comprehensive services are delivered across five states and territories; Mas'long-standing partnerships with government, industry‌ and community stakeholders allow them to create meaningful opportunities and drive positive change.

Devonport Country Club

Devonport Country Club is a state-of-the-art sporting and leisure facility located in Devonport, Tasmania, Australia. The Club offers a range of recreational activities, including indoor bowling, grass bowls, croquet, and golf Course, as well as function facilities and excellent dining options.

 

DCC has one of Tasmania’s finest 18-hole courses; pristine fairways, practice facilities, and a welcoming experience for golfers of all levels. The indoor bowling area features eight rinks and provides a comfortable and modern space for both social and competitive bowling. The rinks are available for use by members and visitors alike, and the Club regularly hosts tournaments and events that draw participants from across Tasmania and beyond. In addition to the indoor bowling area, the Club boasts three grass bowls greens that are meticulously maintained to provide an excellent playing surface. These greens are perfect for players of all skill levels and are used for regular competitions and social bowls events throughout the year.

Devonport Football Club

The Devonport Football Club is a united place supporting players, family and community. The DFC is the destination club for the greater Devonport region. The club is successful on and off the field and respected and valued by the community for its positive influence.

 

DFC ensure that they support and challenge their players to become the very best they can be, both on and off the field by providing the right balance of people, facilities and structure. While DFC players are putting intense effort into achieving at the highest level on the field, a key success indicator for the club is the development of a culture that lives out their club values. 

 

DFC help achieve this via the development of close relationships between all levels of the club, the provision of opportunities for growth and development of their players both in terms of football and life, and a focus on participation over success in the junior ranks. DFC takes the education and development of thier junior players very seriously - they are out future. In 2017 DFC offered these players special education sessions regarding the dangers of drugs and alcohol and provided them with opportunities to volunteer in the community.
