Shipping & Returns

DELIVERY AREA 

Nubco partners with Road Runners to deliver orders across Tasmania. While Road Runners services the majority of the state, some areas may not be covered (view non-service areas here). Please check your postcode to confirm if it falls within our delivery area.

 

Our delivery partners are unable to deliver to:

  • PO Boxes
  • Locked Bags
  • Private Bags
  • Private Lockers
  • Australia Post Parcel Collect or Parcel Lockers

 

If you'd prefer that Road Runners do not leave your order unattended, please mention your request in the notes section at checkout.


FREE DELIVERY 

Most products on our website are eligible for free delivery, provided they meet the free delivery minimum spend. But, the following exclusions apply:

  1. Orders valued under $199
  2. Selected Items deemed too bulkylarge, or heavy.  These will be marked on the website.
  3. Items marked as P.O.A. (Price on Application) or with a "Click To Collect only" option
  4. Certain regional areas of Tasmania. A list of these non-service areas here

 

Important: Nubco reserves the right to modify or withdraw free delivery offers at any time. If your order does not qualify for free delivery, a minimum shipping fee will apply unless otherwise communicated.

Alternative Carrier Options

While we primarily use Road Runners for deliveries, we may opt to use a different carrier for certain deliveries if required, especially for large, heavy, or urgent orders. If an alternate carrier is used, we'll inform you prior to dispatch.

 

Oversized & Heavy Items

To ensure a smooth delivery experience, items deemed too bulkylarge, or heavy for standard shipping will be flagged and shown during checkout. These items may be excluded from free delivery, and additional shipping charges will apply. If you proceed with an order containing such items, you will be contacted to confirm the applicable shipping charges.

 

Hazardous Items

Items classified as hazardous may pose a risk if left unattended for long periods. By ordering these products, you acknowledge the associated risks and agree to their safe handling.

 

Estimated Delivery Timeframes

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • North-West & North Tasmania: 2-3 business days
  • South Tasmania (including Hobart Metro): 3-4 business days
  • East Coast & Regional Areas: 3-4 business days
  • Islands & Remote Areas: 5-7 business days

 

Please note, these timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.

 

Delivery Tracking

After dispatch, you will receive an email with a tracking link for your order when possible.  If a tracking number is not available, you will be notified of dispatch and if you require any further information, please contact our customer service representatives.  You can track your shipment via the Road Runners website, for applicable orders. Once your order has been delivered, you'll receive a confirmation email.

Receiving Your Order

Road Runners deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. We are currently unable to schedule deliveries for specific days or times, including weekends.

Generally, packages will be left at a safe and accessible location, such as the front door. Please note that Road Runners will not enter properties with dogs, regardless of the dog’s temperament.

If an alternative carrier is used, please contact customer service for any further information.

 


Returns Policy

Proof of Purchase

To process a return or exchange, proof of purchase is required, which should include:

  • Date of purchase
  • Price
  • Store details
  • Product(s) purchased

If you cannot provide the original proof of purchase, we will attempt to locate the details in our system.

 

Change of Mind

Nubco offers exchanges on unused products returned in their original, resaleable condition within 30 days. Please note, change of mind returns do not apply to:

  • Sale or promotional items
  • Spare parts
  • Special order products

 

Faulty Products & Warranties

At Nubco, we are committed to ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality. In the event that you receive a faulty product, your rights are protected under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides consumers with certain guarantees, including that products must be of acceptable quality, match the description, and be fit for their intended purpose.

 

If your product is found to be faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the nature of the fault:

  • Minor Faults: Nubco will repair or replace the product at no additional cost to you, within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Major Faults: You can choose between a refund, replacement, or repair. A major fault includes situations where the product is significantly different from what was advertised, unsafe, or unfit for purpose.

 

In addition to consumer guarantees, some products may come with manufacturer warranties. These warranties provide additional coverage beyond the ACL, and we encourage you to review the specific terms provided with your product. If you need to claim under a warranty, please contact us for assistance.

Please note, the ACL does not cover faults caused by misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear. For more information on your rights under the ACL, you can visit the ACCC website.

 

Damage During Delivery

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you notice any obvious damage or discrepancies, do not sign for the delivery and contact us immediately. If damage is only discovered after unpacking, please notify us as soon as possible on onlineorders@nubco.com.au
